The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Care Act.

This can involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as a care assistant with us means being an important part of people's everyday lives. You get to use your care and commitment to make a difference every day. We are looking for you who want to contribute to creating safety, continuity, and good care for people who need support, whether it is at home, in a special accommodation, group home, or within social psychiatry.

As a care assistant, you provide support in daily living for individuals in need of care. This can involve assistance with personal care, meals, transfers, and creating a meaningful everyday life for the user. The work is based on individual implementation plans and aims to strengthen the individual's independence and participation.

You work closely with colleagues and other professionals, and it is part of the job to document interventions according to current guidelines. The role requires good communication, flexibility, and a professional approach always with the user's needs in focus.

The work is scheduled for evenings and every other weekend, either day or evening.

One position is based in the home care center and one in home care Södertull.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in this role, you need to be confident in yourself, have a respectful attitude, and want to contribute to a good work environment. You need to be meticulous, service-oriented, and able to adapt to different people's needs.

The job requires good teamwork skills, but also the ability to take responsibility and work independently. It is important that you are attentive, aware of changes, and can handle both routine situations and more unexpected events in everyday life. You need to be able to document in digital systems according to current routines.

• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
• A driving license (B) is required for most of the home care services. Some home care groups use bicycles instead, so you need to be able to ride a bike.
• Certified nursing assistant is a merit.

Experience in elderly care, support for disabilities, and/or social psychiatry is advantageous.
